I did see MTV VMA (Video Music Awards). Had the feeling Kreayshawn was not goin to take the Best New Artist category. I mean it is a voting thing for that category, Glad Wiz Khalifa got played too. We did it, we survived Hurricane irene. I mean it got downgraded by the time it finally got here but with all the preparation I mean we made it out ok. Most people in different parts of New York and New Jersey did have it rough.
-Intense flooding that is true, also Ocean City, MD looked like it got it very rough
-Some definite flooding here on Cross Bay Blvd., I mean the Marina is right there so it is kind of always a problem.

Quantum of Solace review

So I finally got around to seeing the new Bond movie. I am just gonna say this is a reluctant 4 star movie. I just wanna give it a 3 but I can't, I mean the action sequences were sick. I think the dialogue was not as good as the previous "Casino Royale" but it was still a fun ride. I find Daniel Craig does make a great Bond but I miss the thread of jokes that were in the Pierce Bronsnan flicks and stuff. I mean sure he is all business in this one but at least crack a joke or two to lighten the mood, lol. This movie does get a "Go see this one in the theater" recommendation from me. Yeah so check the shit out on the big screen if you can. If not, wait for netflix.

I have been kinda going out alot this summer that is true. Way more than usual but some events and parties I go to I notice I am just there because i get free access or what now to the shows. So in a way I kind of feel like a hip hop reporter or something, going to a concert that would normally cost $50 or $100 for free, but deep down I don't really wanna be there.
I am not trying to shit on people because sure there is someone else in the world that would be more determined to go or try to be there. I guess I just have better contacts or networking skills (Thanks yelpers for teaching me how to wheel and deal a bit better).

Also went to a Mets game a week or two ago, It was an awesome section too 112 row 17 FIELD level. Game against the Padres, I actually had a bunch of other shit to do that night but since I got these tickets for free, I did not want to waste them. Game was cool, I only stayed until the 8th inning because I was heading into manhattan for a Heineken Red Star Soul event with J. Cole and wanted to make sure I did not get shut out. The game was excellent though, but I missed a furious comeback by the amazin' Metropolitans in the 9th and they WON the game, 9-8 I believe. It was a tuesday night game.

J. Cole is a good performing live but on that note I am not the biggest fan of the guy. Like I said I got in the venue for free and free heineken's were being offered the whole night in this deal through facebook at BOWERY BALLROOM. Initially maybe was not going to this place either, but thought might as well make a DAY of it and go. There were too alot of fans that I am sure wanted to go, but could not get on the list or just not know someone who had a hookup.

-I mean I never met like 50 Cent or anything , I don't have those kinds of connections. I just know the kind of people that seem to get alot of stuff for free from radio stations, or a connection like HEY MY BOY DJ's for 50 CENT label sometimes, he can get you and me into this WU- TANG CLAN show next week for free. I'm like sure let's go. I like the word FREE.

Then I traded Anthony Parker to the Spurs for Tiago Splitter and I traded Jamison and Gibson for Garnett, Scalabrine (who shouldn't even have been on the roster) and a 2012 2nd Rounde. Next I signed AI to a 1 yr. deal.

I'm currently 2-2 I got off to a slow start getting blown out by the Pacers on opening night, I then beat the Suns and Hawks in a back to back, I then proceeded to get blown out by Wizards despite a strong showing by Martell Webster. AI has been playing well so far averaging 18 and 8, he had 32 and 12 against the Hawks. I struggled with Webster in the first game but I've picked it up and scored 25 against the Wizards making 5-10 from 3. Beasley was averaging 18ppg. before I played the Wizards and he only scored 2pts. which dropped his avg. to 14ppg. KG has been solid giving me 15 and 5. Tiago Splitter has been great averaging 11 and 7.

I have really run myself down in the past couple of weeks. I mean I know it is the summer and alot of events and shit are poppin off. Anyway, I got a few days off last week but that friday off was no fun. I WAS so physically drained. I mean even two weeks ago, I ended up staying out every night until after midnight, every day but Monday and Saturday night.
